Terms of Service
These Terms govern use of the Mapper Studio website and explain baseline terms for inquiries, content, and agency services unless a signed agreement says otherwise.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you access or use the Mapper Studio website, contact us, submit information through a form, or otherwise interact with us online. References to "Mapper Studio," "we," "us," and "our" mean Mapper Studio.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the website. If you engage Mapper Studio for paid services, that work will be governed by the applicable proposal, statement of work, master services agreement, order form, or other signed agreement. If there is a conflict, the signed agreement controls for that client work.
What we do
Mapper Studio provides ecommerce strategy, Shopify design and development, migrations, optimization, diagnostics, support, and related digital services. Information on the website is general and does not guarantee any specific result, revenue increase, timeline, ranking, conversion rate, or business outcome.
Website use
You agree not to:
- Use the website for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, forms, or infrastructure.
- Interfere with the security, availability, or operation of the website.
- Copy, scrape, resell, or exploit website content in a way that violates these Terms or applicable law.
- Submit false, misleading, confidential, infringing, or unlawful information.
Inquiries and forms
Submitting a contact, consultation, careers, or project inquiry form does not create a client relationship, employment relationship, partnership, or obligation for us to respond, provide services, review materials, or retain information. You are responsible for making sure information you submit is accurate and that you have the right to share it.
Proposals and client work
Any proposal, estimate, timeline, recommendation, diagnostic, or discussion before a signed agreement is non-binding unless it expressly says otherwise. Paid work begins only when we and the client agree to the applicable scope, fees, schedule, and terms in writing.
Client responsibilities may include providing timely access, assets, approvals, content, platform permissions, third-party account access, feedback, and business decisions. Delays in those items may affect scope, timeline, fees, and delivery dates.
Fees and payment
Fees, deposits, payment schedules, expenses, taxes, late fees, and cancellation terms for client projects will be described in the applicable written agreement. Unless that agreement says otherwise, fees are non-refundable once work has begun.
Intellectual property
The website, including text, graphics, layout, code, logos, trade names, and other materials, is owned by Mapper Studio or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use website content for ordinary informational purposes, but you may not copy, publish, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit it without permission.
Ownership of work product, licenses, pre-existing materials, third-party materials, open-source software, and client assets for paid projects will be governed by the applicable written agreement.
Third-party platforms and services
Our work and website may involve third-party platforms, apps, software, hosting providers, analytics tools, Shopify, payment processors, email platforms, and other services. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their acts, omissions, availability, pricing, policies, security, or changes.
Confidentiality
If confidential information is shared during an inquiry or project, confidentiality obligations will be governed by any applicable nondisclosure agreement or signed services agreement. Please do not send sensitive confidential information through public website forms unless we have agreed to receive it.
No warranties
The website is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mapper Studio disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mapper Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of the website or these Terms.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mapper Studio from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the website, your submissions, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Venue for disputes relating to these Terms or the website will be in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, unless applicable law requires a different venue.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
